June 21, 1582, Akechi Mitsuhide leads his army on an attack on Honno-ji Temple to kill Oda Nobunaga. Surrounded, Nobunaga has the tmeple set on fire to deny Mitsuhide his head as a trophy. With only a couple of bodyguards and his wife Lady Noh by his side Oda Noubnaga makes his final stand as Honno-ji Temple burns.
